“Dell Alpi” Stadium (70,000 spectators) was built for the “Italia 90” football World Cup.
The tensile structure covering 27,000 m2. it was one of the largest, most complex and innovative in the world; in fact, it had a very high structural efficiency ratio: it was able to carry a total load equal to 10 times its own weight.
Subsequently, Juventus F.C., in the years 2009-2011, radically transformed it, reducing the capacity from 70,000 to 40,000 seats, but significantly increasing spectator services and comfort facilities.
