The work, in addition to responding to the needs of restoring the original urban road network, is conceived with the aim of redeveloping the surrounding area with particular attention to the side towards Piazza Borgo Dora. With this in mind, a cycle path and a pedestrian path have been created along the two sides of the bridge, punctuated in its longitudinal development by benches to accommodate passers-by during panoramic stops. The walkway and rest benches of the pedestrian path are made of wooden planks.<\/p>\n

It is characterized by a single span, with a main structure in metal carpentry and a reinforced concrete deck.<\/p>\n

The support abutments of the bridge on the two banks of the Dora river are made of reinforced concrete. each founded on 8 piles with a diameter of 120cm; Furthermore, closing and watertight bulkheads have been created between the intrados of the bridge and the external face of the abutment in order to contain the water from the Dora in the event of a flood. The bulkhead is made up of stiffening profiles and hot-dip galvanized steel sheets with further protective surface treatment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
